LeadingAge California is encouraging all members to join a discussion to help shape national public policy priorities affecting the LeadingAge membership.
Whether you serve older adults in affordable senior housing, long term care, home and community-based services, hospice, life plan communities, or another setting, LeadingAge wants to hear from you on how federal government policy affect your operations and residents and any changes you feel are necessary.
Town hall conversations are being organized by each state association partners. LeadingAge California and national staff will participate to hear directly from you on public policy issues of concern to your community. Results of the conversation will be shared with LeadingAge’s Public Policy Committee, Board of Directors and staff, and will be used to set policy priorities to better represent your interests and the interests of older adults in Washington, DC.
The conversations are recorded, and we will use these recordings to gauge our members concerns about ways national public policy is affecting their communities, the older adults they serve, and how policy could be changed for the better.
We hope you will join us online for the important conversation. Register here.
