Soua Vang brings over 20 years of experience managing educational programs in nonprofit trade associations. She began her career working for the California Association of Children's Homes where she discovered her interest in coordinating and planning educational events and conferences.
After graduating from college, she held positions at the California Association for School Business Officials and the California Association for Health Services at Home, where she provided leadership and vision for their educational programs. At the California Association for Health Services at Home, she served as the Director of Education where she managed an education budget of $1.2 million, led a team of three dedicated professionals and oversaw the entire education department activities. During her tenure there, she successfully expanded and trademarked six certificate programs and added six national certification exams.
In 2013, she joined the California Pharmacists Association as the Vice President, Center for Learning where she oversaw the branding, positioning, and marketing of education programs. She implemented and managed the Learning Management System (LMS); developed and maintained curriculum for on-demand courses. She incorporated new trends in delivery and learning methods; creating and sustaining a mix of program delivery which met the needs of the diverse pharmacy audience. Within the first two years, she expanded the educational offerings, growing the education budget by double.
Soua received her Bachelor’s Degree in in 2000 and achieved her CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) designation in 2005.
