Approved Vendors are selected by the Group Services Board because they are best in class and they offer unique products or value-added services. In order to become an Approved Vendor, companies must offer:

Savings: many of the programs bring substantial savings

Value Added Services: extra services that come with no extra charge

Member Discounts: group discounts are offered for many of the programs*

GuardianComp is a workers’ comp self insurance group available through Lewis and Associates. Since its inception in 2003, the 25 LeadingAge California members in the program have saved $14 million.

The GuardianHome residents’ personal property insurance plan is a unique program designed to provide quality, low cost protection for residents in a retirement home setting. The plan covers loss of personal property, as well as personal liability. There are over 5,000 participants.
