2011 ASI Award

Advanced Solutions International (ASI) believes that the work of nonprofits is of vital importance to the world and that the iMIS software allows organizations in this industry to focus on their mission and "achieve great things." They are proud of the difference iMIS customers are making in the world and the role that their products and services play in their efforts. Each year they recognize organizations that are doing "Great Things" and in 2011 Aging Services California was given an award.

2008 EMMY Nomination

The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences nominated "Age is Just a Number." The selection for outstanding achievement in Community/Public Service television came from the San Francisco/Northern California chapter, which represents television and cable stations from Visalia to the Oregon border as well as Hawaii and Reno, Nevada.

The Aging Services spot, created by Pilotfish Productions, features famous and "ordinary" people who've lived long and extraordinarily accomplished lives. As part of the association's "Aging is an Active Verb" public education campaign, the message was that aging is a process we all experience rather than a label placed on the old and frail.

The PSA premiered in June 2007 and was included in the community service rotations of 20-30 stations across the state, earning hundreds of thousands of dollars in free airtime.
